CONTINUUM is a journal in development for research on mathematics teaching, learning, and teacher education. It aims to bring together studies that examine mathematical thinking, classroom practice, curriculum, and educational innovation.

About the Journal

Published by PT Payung Alam Cendekia, CONTINUUM is being established as a scholarly forum for mathematics education. The journal will welcome research that offers a clear contribution to how mathematics is understood, taught, and learned across educational settings.

Its editorial board and publication policies are still being prepared. The journal is not yet accepting manuscripts.

Focus and Scope

Areas of interest include:

  • Mathematics teaching and learning in schools and higher education
  • Mathematical reasoning, problem solving, literacy, and connections
  • Geometry, spatial reasoning, and mathematical representations
  • Mathematics curriculum, assessment, and instructional materials
  • Mathematics teacher education and professional development
  • Realistic Mathematics Education, design research, and other instructional approaches
  • Digital technologies and artificial intelligence in mathematics education

Editorial Process

The journal's editorial workflow is under preparation. The planned stages are:

  1. Initial screening: Scope, originality, and compliance with author guidelines.
  2. Peer review: Independent scholarly evaluation, according to the review policy to be finalized.
  3. Editorial decision: A decision based on the manuscript and reviewers' recommendations.
  4. Production: Copyediting, proofing, and publication following acceptance.

The review model and processing timelines will be published when the editorial arrangements have been finalized.

Before Submission

Authors should consult the journal's focus and scope and prepare manuscripts reporting original research. The article template, author guidelines, publication ethics, and submission checklist will be provided before submissions open.
